1. Account Terms

You must be at least 13 years old to use Claritii. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed these terms and agrees to them on your behalf.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at support@claritii.com.

2. Pricing & Billing

Claritii offers four tiers: Free, Pro (Student and Standard), and Max (Student and Standard). All prices are in USD. Monthly subscriptions are billed each calendar month. Annual subscriptions are billed once per year.

Student pricing requires verification at checkout. If you are not a current student, you must select the Standard track. Providing false information to access student pricing is a violation of these terms.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are given for mid-cycle cancellations.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Claritii for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to bypass our rate limits, fair use policies, or access restrictions
• Submit content that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the platform for competing purposes
• Share or resell access to your account or any Claritii features to third parties

4. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of all content you create on Claritii, including flashcards, notes, quiz responses, and uploaded materials. By submitting content, you grant Claritii a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You represent that your content does not violate any third-party rights and that you have the necessary permissions for any materials you upload.

5. Academic Disclaimer

Claritii is a study aid designed to supplement your learning. It does not guarantee any specific grade, exam result, or academic outcome. Study habits, effort, and other factors beyond our control significantly affect academic performance.

AI-generated content, including flashcards, quiz questions, practice papers, and feedback, may contain errors. You should verify critical information against your official syllabus, textbooks, and teachers.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Claritii and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, study time, or academic results.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if your conduct could harm other users or the platform. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination where practicable.

Upon termination, your access to the platform and your data will be removed. You may request a copy of your data before termination by contacting us.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales. If you are a consumer in another jurisdiction, you may retain any mandatory protections under your local law.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or through an in-app notice. Continued use of Claritii after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
